The Midwest Defense Innovation Summit is the region’s premier gathering for advancing national security through cutting-edge innovation. Powered by the Applied Research Institute, the 2025 summit is focused on AI and Innovation for National Security, convening policymakers, industry leaders, defense stakeholders, and regional partners to explore the latest advancements and emerging opportunities in artificial intelligence and beyond.

MDIS 2025 will take place October 15–16, 2025, at the Grand Hall Ballroom at Crowne Plaza Union Station, located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis.
